What started out as irresistible, tight, perfect ringlets...
Turned into something CRAZY!
We decided it was time to have Alison hack the curls.
Axel did quite well sitting still with his puppy and a lollipop.
After all was said and done...he aged about 2 years in 5 minutes!
He's not a baby anymore!
But I sure cried like one when the curls were gone!
Hopefully in another 2 or so years they'll be back.

You should have kept them until he was at least 7 so that when he was 17 he could look back and blame his teenage rebellion on his sweet kid hair. Now he's going to have to find another excuse. No matter, he's still adorable beyond belief! (do they even say 'no matter' outside of Kentucky?)
I'm afraid I would have cried also! He's sure a cutie and it DID grow him up quite a bit didn't it!
He looks so handsome. Don't worry, it'll grow back!
